Privacy Policy for Forkers
Effective date: August 17, 2026
Forkers ("we," "us," "the app") connects diners with last-minute restaurant tables and connects restaurant partners with diners. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Information we collect
- Account information: when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided by that account). We also store a permanent, unique username you choose.
- Profile information you add: an optional Instagram handle and an optional uploaded profile photo, shown only to other diners you've shared a table with.
- Location: with your permission, your device's location is used to find nearby tables and to save "notify me" requests for a specific area. Location is not stored continuously or tracked in the background.
- Group chat messages: messages you send in a table's group chat are stored and shown to other confirmed diners at that same table, for a limited time after the meal (chat access closes automatically one hour after the reservation's end time).
- Push notification tokens: a device token used to deliver notifications (e.g. "a table just opened up"). You can disable this anytime in your device settings.
- Blocking: if you block another diner, we store that action to enforce it (e.g. hiding your profile/chat from a blocked user).
- Purchase data: if you make a purchase (e.g. featuring a table listing), payment is processed by Apple/Google and by RevenueCat, our subscription/purchase infrastructure provider. We do not see or store your payment card details — RevenueCat provides us with purchase confirmation and transaction records only.
- Partner/business information: if you operate a restaurant on Forkers, we store your venue's name, address, cuisine, and contact details, and the table listings you create. You can also upload photos of your venue, which are shown publicly on the venue's listing.
How we use this information
To operate the core features above (matching diners to tables, group coordination, notifications, blocking/safety, and payments) — we do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Third parties we use
Supabase (database and authentication hosting), Expo (push notification delivery), RevenueCat (purchase processing), and Google/Apple (sign-in). Each processes only what's needed to provide their respective service to us.
Data deletion
You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from your profile screen. Some data tied to other users' active reservations (e.g. a group chat you participated in) may be retained until that chat's own retention window closes, consistent with the retention period described above.
Children's privacy
Forkers is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the effective date above if this policy changes materially.

Forkers（以下「当社」または「本アプリ」）は、直前で空いたレストランの席とダイナーをつなぎ、また飲食店パートナーとダイナーをつなぐ サービスです。本ポリシーでは、当社が収集する情報とその理由について説明します。
収集する情報
- アカウント情報：GoogleまたはAppleでサインインすると、お名前、メールアドレス、（提供されている場合は） プロフィール写真を取得します。また、お客様が選択した固有のユーザー名も保存します。
- プロフィール情報：任意で追加いただけるInstagramのユーザー名や、アップロードされたプロフィール写真です。 これらは、同じテーブルを共にしたことのある他のダイナーにのみ表示されます。
- 位置情報：許可をいただいた場合、お使いの端末の位置情報を利用して近くの空席を検索したり、特定エリアの 「通知希望」を保存したりします。位置情報を継続的に保存したり、バックグラウンドで追跡したりすることはありません。
- グループチャットのメッセージ：テーブルのグループチャットで送信されたメッセージは保存され、同じテーブルの 他の予約確定済みダイナーに表示されます。表示期間は食事終了後一定時間に限られます（予約終了時刻から1時間後にチャットへの アクセスは自動的に終了します）。
- プッシュ通知トークン：通知（例：「テーブルの空きが出ました」）を配信するために使用する端末トークンです。 端末の設定からいつでも無効にできます。
- ブロック機能：他のダイナーをブロックした場合、その操作を適用するために記録します（例：ブロックした ユーザーからプロフィールやチャットを非表示にする）。
- 購入データ：テーブル掲載を目立たせる機能などの購入を行った場合、支払いはApple、Google、および購入基盤を 提供するRevenueCatによって処理されます。当社がお客様の支払いカード情報を閲覧・保存することはありません。RevenueCatからは 購入確認および取引記録のみが提供されます。
- パートナー/事業者情報：Forkersでレストランを運営されている場合、店舗名、住所、料理ジャンル、連絡先、 および作成いただいた席の掲載情報を保存します。店舗の写真をアップロードいただくこともでき、これらは店舗掲載ページに 公開されます。
情報の利用目的
上記の主要機能（ダイナーと席のマッチング、グループ調整、通知、ブロック機能・安全対策、決済）を提供するために利用します。 お客様のデータを販売したり、第三者の広告目的で利用したりすることはありません。
利用している第三者サービス
Supabase（データベースおよび認証基盤）、Expo（プッシュ通知配信）、RevenueCat（購入処理）、Google/Apple（サインイン）。 各社は、当社へのサービス提供に必要な範囲でのみデータを処理します。
データの削除
プロフィール画面からいつでもアカウントおよび関連データを完全に削除できます。他のユーザーの進行中の予約に関連するデータ （参加していたグループチャットなど）については、上記の保存期間の説明に沿って、そのチャット自体の保存期間が終了するまで 保持される場合があります。
児童のプライバシーについて
Forkersは13歳未満のお子様を対象としたサービスではなく、13歳未満のお子様から意図的に情報を収集することはありません。
本ポリシーの変更
本ポリシーの内容に重要な変更があった場合、上記の施行日を更新します。
